We needed to find a way to prevent bankruptcy and did not know what to do with all of the debt we had.  A friend of mine told me to talk with a debt settlement company.  The debt settlement company said that we could discuss their settlement programs.  So we made an appointment to speak with the debt settlement company to go over the programs.  By the end of the appointment we decided that we would use 1 of 2 of the debt settlement programs.  All we needed to do is process the paper w ork for authorization so the debt settlement company could go to work to help us prevent bankruptcy.
