When I spoke with the debt settlement company last week they explained the different programs they have.  I am looking into debt settlement at this point as I have inherited some money.  If the debt settlement company is able to settle on my outstanding debts with one of their programs I should have enough money to eliminate my debt.  If the debt settlement company is able to settle on my debts with one of their programs I should be able to buy my own home within a year.  Once I am out of debt I will do whatever I can to make sure that I do not fall behind again.
